I wanted to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about my journey to becoming a Pilates instructor/Personal trainer…

As a successful professional dancer with a worldwide career spanning over 8 years for various shows and productions, my understanding and passion for health has been vital for my career. From the early stages of Performing arts college, Mat Pilates was introduced to me and from that moment has been my go to till present. Therefore, it was a natural progression to become a fully certified Fitness professional and share this wonderful method.

After completing my Level 3 Mat qualification, I went onto teach in various London boutique studios (KXU, BLOK, KX to name a few) whilst attaining a worldwide personal clientele. I currently continue to teach in London at Karve, a Pilates studio with a unique format and technique, which started my hunger to continue to learn different hybrids of Pilates.

With this desire and passion to keep striving for knowledge, the classical method came calling! Exhale Studios was my number one choice as their teachers and education system are the best for Full Comprehensive courses. I fell in love with all the different classical apparatus, the repertoire and the extensive training that has broaden my knowledge as an instructor. Thus, this encouraged me to build my own private classical studio for clients within Brookmans Park (Hertfordshire) to share with as many people as possible the benefits of Pilates staying true to the classical system.

MY METHOD

My focus throughout any of my Pilates sessions is to make the movement feel good for the body. Adapting to my clients needs is vital and with experience in pre & post natal and extensive training, all levels are welcome. Regressions & progressions are given throughout to develop and sustain a healthy level of functional fitness. Also, I thoroughly encourage a personal friendship with my clients as I believe support and guidance are two elements that really help with their journey!

THE TRANSFORMATIVE POWER OF PILATES: EMPHASIZING THE MIND-BODY CONNECTION FOR PHYSICAL AND MENTAL WELLNES

I am extremely passionate about not just the physical benefits of Pilates but also the mental wellness. I love to emphasise on the mind-body connection, it’s power is transformative! The key principles; control, centre, precision, flow, breath and concentration leaves little time for the mind to wander. Throughout your practise it’s just you and your body and being present in that moment, therefore when you step away from your mat or apparatus you can’t help but feel clearer and more centred; physically and mentally energised. That is the beauty of Pilates!

I have been incredibly fortune to connect with so many wonderful people throughout my journey and I hope to continue to deliver and teach this method.
